Lucky buyers of #Microsoft #Lumia 950 could get continuum hub for free

Why, so lucky, you ask? That is because this new offer from Microsoft is valid until supplies last. And considering the hype the Lumia 950 XL has been picking up, we can imagine things to move fast.

The launch of this anticipated flagship phablet approaches, and the device is expected to debut in several key markets across the globe later this month.

Buyers in Microsoft’s home turf, however, will be treated to a super offer that includes a free Continuum adapter that will allow buyers in the United States the ability to turn their phones into a PC simply by plugging their smartphones and connecting an external display, keyboard and mouse.

This deal is valid for people that buy their new phablet running Windows 10 Mobile anywhere between November 25 and 31.

A message posted on the Microsoft Store reads:

“Eligible for free Microsoft Display Dock with purchase of Lumia 950 XL via the Lumia Offers app, while supplies last.”

Limited time offer, this.

If you plan on availing this offer, you will be required to register in the Lumia Offers app, and then get your Microsoft Display Dock from Microsoft Store by the end of February 2016.

The accessory basically mirrors the screen of the phone to the monitor, allowing users to work on their handsets just like they do on a PC.

Also featured on the Microsoft Display Dock is a USB Type-C connector, DisplayPort and HDMI ports, 2 USB 2.0 connections, as well as LED power indicators. It also supports video resolutions up to the full HD mark, meaning 1920 x 1080.

The dock will go on sale together with the new Lumia devices later this month, priced $99.
