While lots of users may like to try out Windows 10 Mobile, not everyone can afford the new top-spec Lumia 950.

If you live in the U.K., Microsoft is aware of this and has cut the price of the low-end buy still Windows 10 Mobile up-gradable Lumia 435 to just £30, with a pay as you go tariff.

That makes it highly tempting for those who want to try Windows 10, but don’t want to blow a fortune on a mid-range or high-end device.

The Lumia 435 comes with Windows 8.1 installed, but is confirmed as an upgrade device compatible with Windows 10 Mobile, which should be launching in the next week or so.

The 435 features a modest 800×480 screen, a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 CPU. That’s supported by 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and a microSD card slot. plus a 2-megapixel camera.

So. it won’t be much good for power users, or gadget lovers. However, for anyone wanting to try Windows 10 Mobile out, it provides a cheap, almost disposable test platform, also ideal for kids, students and those who always lose or damage their devices.
